WAYNE GÖTZ

Wayne works at the interface between physical theater, science, improv theater and new media. His current work deals with the subject of transience and joyful failure. He has shown his pieces in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
Originally from Kehl, he studied philosophy and religious studies at the University of Heidelberg. After a minor in economics at the Pontificia Universidad de Chile, he completed his physics diploma in 2013. During this time he devoted himself intensively to improvisational theater and obtained the black belt in judo. He then worked as CEO of two IT start-ups, one of which was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
After graduating from the Folkwang University of the Arts, he investigates the connection between scientific approaches and artistic thinking. His way of working is characterized by a high level of physical effort and the mixing of different disciplines.
